UX/UI Case Study


Omega Global Technologies is a Silicon Valley-based distributor of electronic components. The company had approached me to redesign their website with a focus on improving user experience design. They wanted to make their website more intuitive, informative, and user-friendly to help potential customers find the information they need and ultimately convert them into new clients.


The previous website was cluttered with information, which made it difficult for users to navigate and find what they were looking for. The previous website was not optimized for mobile devices, resulting in a subpar user experience for mobile users. Also, the website struggled to convert visitors into customers effectively. Furthermore, the client had an extensive services list that needed to be organized and presented in a modern way similar to that made sense to users.

I took a user-centered design approach to redesign the website, starting with extensive user research to understand their needs, expectations, and pain points. This involved analyzing how their competitors looked, conveyed information, and interacted with their customers.

Based on the research insights, I developed user personas that represented different types of users who would visit the website, such as logistics and inventory managers, procurement officers, and shipping coordinators. I then used the personas to create a website wireframe that outlined the user’s goals as they interacted with the website.



I focused on simplifying the navigation structure, creating clear and concise messaging, and organizing the services list  in a way that made it easy for users to find what they were looking for.

One of the most significant changes I made was to optimize the website for mobile devices. I created a responsive design that would adapt to different screen sizes and resolutions, ensuring that users could access the site on-the-go and still have a great user experience.

Also, I incorporated a company YouTube showreel as a video background and dynamic visual elements to add modern look to their website.

The redesigned website had a significant impact on user experience and engagement. Users found it easier to navigate, with clear messaging and an intuitive layout that made it easier to find information. The service list was organized in a way that made sense to users, and the site was optimized for mobile devices, which increased engagement on-the-go.

Overall, the redesign improved the user experience, resulting in increased engagement and conversions. The stakeholders were delighted with the results and saw a significant increase in leads and inquiries from potential clients.
